What is MMA sparring?
Mixed martial arts (MMA), popularly known as cage fighting or ultimate fighting is a full contact combat sport that allows for a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills derived from a mixture of martial arts traditions. In our MMA sparring combat circuit we use a range of training techniques that provide for an ultimate body workout while at the same time allowing you to develop your martial arts skills.
MMA sparring may have a number of benefits whether you are looking to improve your fighting or self-defence skills or build up your fitness levels. A great all over body workout, MMA sparring may help you improve your strength, agility and cardiovascular fitness. Sparring with a partner can also be a good way to improve your reaction time and improvisation skills and gain confidence.
